Terms of Service

The rules of the road. Read before creating an account.

  1. Acceptance of terms. By accessing or using Republiclabs AI App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
  2. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract.
  3. Description of the service. We provide AI-powered companion chat experiences, including text, voice and image features.
  4. Account registration. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.
  5. Account security. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  6. Single user. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing logins is not permitted.
  7. Acceptable use. Do not use the service for illegal activities, harassment, impersonation or to harm minors.
  8. Prohibited content. You may not upload or request content involving minors, non-consensual material or illegal acts.
  9. Intellectual property. All names, logos, designs, characters and source code belong to Republiclabs AI App or its licensors.
  10. Limited license. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the service for its intended purpose.
  11. User-generated content. You retain ownership of messages you submit, but grant us a license to operate and improve the service.
  12. AI-generated content. Replies generated by our AI are provided "as is" and may not always be accurate or appropriate.
  13. No professional advice. Conversations on the platform are not medical, legal, financial or mental health advice.
  14. Subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout.
  15. Free trials. Free trials, where offered, convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends.
  16. Cancellations. You may cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the next billing cycle.
  17. Refunds. Refunds are handled case-by-case under applicable consumer protection law.
  18. Right of withdrawal (EU). EU consumers may withdraw within 14 days of purchase unless service was already consumed.
  19. Pricing changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days notice for existing subscribers.
  20. Termination by you. You can delete your account at any time. Deletion ends your right to use the service.
  21. Termination by us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the safety of other users.
  22. Service availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  23. Updates and changes. We may add, modify or remove features at any time to improve the service.
  24. Third-party services. The service may integrate with third parties (payments, analytics) governed by their own terms.
  25. Beta features. Features marked as beta may change or be removed. Use them at your own risk.
  26. No warranty. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  27. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
  28. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service.
  29. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  30. Jurisdiction. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
  31. Dispute resolution. Before going to court, both parties will attempt good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days.
  32. Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours in a merger or sale.
  33. Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  34. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
